Aït Ben Haddou: the earthen ksar of the Ounila valley

Aït Ben Haddou is a fortified village (ksar) of earthen buildings on the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech, near Ouarzazate. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and has served as a filming location for many productions, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Our day trip from Marrakech crosses the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass and stops at the Telouet kasbah on the way.
